First, ABC decided to move its long-running competition series Dancing with the Stars to Disney+ exclusively. And now, NBC’s longest-running show, Days of Our Lives, has a new home. Where can you watch the popular soap opera? Read on to find out!
Days is set in the fictional town of Salem. The story mainly follows the Brady, Horton, and DiMera families. Their multi-layered storylines explore all of life’s aspects – from romance and adventure, to mystery and comedy. And of course it wouldn’t be Days of Our Lives without drama!
The series has been on the air for more than 55 years, now running its 58th season. But with a new season has come some new changes.
Days of Our Lives is streaming on Peacock. And actually, now that’s the only spot where you’ll be able to find new episodes. Though it was originally a broadcast show on NBC, the network decided to move the series to its streaming platform only.
The last episode to air on television was on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. Then beginning Sept. 12, you would have found new episodes of Days on Peacock exclusively. The company said they made this decision in the hopes of increasing viewership, as more people now turn to streaming to watch their favorite shows and movies.
You can now watch Days of Our Lives on the platform with a Peacock Premium or Peacock Plus subscription plan. The series continues to release one new episode on weekdays. On air, the soap opera’s timeslot has been given to a brand new daily news program from NBC News.
